I understand that planning a wedding can be a stressful and overwhelming experience. One of the most important decisions you'll make for your big day is choosing a wedding photographer or videographer to capture all of the special moments. That's why I've created a frequently asked questions section below to help answer any questions you may have about booking me for your Bath and Somerset or UK wedding. These are common questions that I get asked a lot. This is a good place to start when deciding to get in touch.
How much is the booking fee?
To reserve your date, I require the booking fee of £400 to be paid in full. This way, we can ensure that your date is held exclusively for you and you dont need to worry about anyone else getting their pesky little mitts on me and you can chill and start planning the rest of your amazing wedding. If you have any questions or concerns, just let me know and I'll be happy to help.
Have you shot at the venue before?
One of the most common asked questions I get is, “Have I ever shot at the venue before?” I always find this question sometimes hard to answer if i'm honest, yes or no I suppose. As a photographer we live off being inspired by different settings, it’s what makes a tick! But for me it’s more about the people. For some couples who book, it’s a relevant question. But, when it comes to wedding photography for me having shot doesn't make a difference. It’s always about the people that makes wedding photography so beautiful. I’ve shot some venues time and time again, the venue never changes, only adapts to the seasons. What does change, is the people and the vibe of the day. I’ve shot weddings at ceratin venues and it’s been a quiet and an intimate day and then the following month I’m back at the same place and its absolutely crazy energetic. Wedding photography is more about what’s in the frame appose to the frame itself, you can have the best backdrop in the world, but the people and vibe dictate how images are perceived. If you have a bunch of guests sat around for 3 hours on their mobile phones… guess what!? Yup, you guessed it. You can be sat on a Beach in Mexico reading your book or you can be dancing on a Beach in Mexico sipping cocktails and dancing bare foot in the sand. The backdrops the same, the image is not.
Do you provide Videography?
I'm happy to say that I absolutely love shooting films! It's an amazing way to add an extra dimension of memories to your special day. I have a few options available for wedding films, including a highlight film & hybrid option that captures all the key moments of your day, you can add on full ceremony and speeches edits to your hybrid option and it comes standard if you book me just for videography. Films that tells the story of your wedding, and a drone footage that adds a unique perspective to your film!
Do you provide black and white and colour versions of photographs and wedding videos?
For videos, all my wedding films come in colour and black and white. The colours are classic and I don't mess around too much with them. This helps in years to come to make your film look decent. Photos come in a mixture of colour and black and white and depend on the venue lighting and my preference. You can request a full set in black and white as an add on after the gallery has been delivered.
What is your lead time on delivering images?
When it comes to delivering your images, I understand that you're eager to see the beautiful memories we'll be capturing on your big day. My lead time for delivering images is normally within 4-6 weeks, depending on the time of year. However, please keep in mind that when you choose to book with me, this can vary. I assure you that I'll work hard to get them to you as soon as possible. I understand that waiting for your images can be a bit of an inconvenience, but I promise you that it's worth the wait, the final product will be a treasure for you to cherish for a lifetime. I'm excited to work with you and create beautiful memories that you'll treasure forever!
How long is the couple shot section of the day?
So when it comes to the couple shoot on your big day, it really all depends on your plans and schedule for the day. The ceremony and wedding breakfast times play a big role in determining when we can fit in the couple shots. Typically, I like to capture these shots between the end of the group/family shots before the wedding breakfast, usually around 30 minutes. But don't worry, I understand that weddings rarely go exactly as planned and that unexpected things can happen. So if the bride is running late or the ceremony goes on longer than expected, we can work around those changes and adjust the schedule accordingly on the day. In some cases splitting the couple section up. The most important thing is that we capture all the special moments that you want to remember forever the documentary parts. So if the couple shots are important to you, just let me know and I will make sure to make them happen but if they are not, its cool! I can go full documentary on your day. If you have any questions or concerns, just let me know and I will be happy to help!
Do you offer prints and albums?
When it comes to prints and albums, I understand that you want to have physical copies of the beautiful memories we'll be capturing on your special day. When you receive your gallery with your images, it's like a shop where you can order directly from there. I offer a wide range of print and album options to choose from, so you can find the perfect way to display and treasure your memories. I'd be more than happy to help you pick the best options to suit your needs. I understand that ordering prints and albums can be a bit overwhelming, but don't worry, I'm here to help you every step of the way.
Can I share my images?
Yes, you have the right to share them and print them. Images can be downloaded in high-resolution for prints as well as web format for sharing on your fave social media platforms. If you plan to use them for marketing for busniess, or the venue you married at you'd need to gain permission from me.
Can dates be penciled?
Dates are only secured with a booking fee and a completion of the online portal. Due to the amount of enquires I receive. I can't turn away other couples for your date until this has been paid and completed.
Can we book Photography and Videography together?
Yes, when you book these together, it's subject to the availability of one of my team members as you will get two of us. The hybrid option is great for those seeking a bit of both with a lower cost.
Can we meet before we book
Due to the high volume of enquiries I receive, I'm only able to do consultations with couples who have booked with me. But don't worry, once you've secured your date with me, I would be more than happy to schedule a video call and chat about all your photography needs and ideas. But this is not essential for me. I'm super duper good at shooting weddings at all sorts of venues and most of what I need to know will be covered in the schedule I send out to you. I understand how important it is to have a clear understanding of what to expect and how to plan for your big day.
How would your describe your style?
My style is natural, documentary and classic, I love slightly darker tones, but this can very much depend on the venue. My wedding films are documentary with a element of romance. You will never catch me setting up shots - my strengths are capturing real moments. Couple shots are guided and don't require you to be good in front of a camera. I will always arrange group shots!
How long are your wedding films?
Wedding films vary based on the day and what couples have planned and also the option you choose. For a my feature option this is 15 minutes, with the highlights option you can expect to receive a 5-7 film including the ceremony and speeches recorded and delivered to you as additional videos. All films come in black and white as well as colour.
How do we get our wedding images?
All options in my brochure provide you with an online gallery to download your images directly to your preferred device. USB & Albums can be added to your wedding package before or after your wedding.
How many images do we get?
This depends on the option you choose, my most popular option is 10 hours of coverage and you can expect to receive 500 plus images with this option.
Can you match other photographers style?
Unfortunately, I can't replicate what you see in someone else's portfolio. However, I can assure you that what you see in my portfolio and on my social feeds is the exact style that you will receive. I believe in staying true to my own unique approach and vision when capturing your special day. I would be more than happy to chat with you more about my style and how it aligns with your photography needs on our call once booked, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns and we can go from there!
Do wedding films come in colour as well?
Yes, wedding all my wedding films come in colour and also black and white. I love black and white so this is why you will mainly see this shown on my website. If you search the films you will find colour samples. My colours are real with no over editing and represent the true aesthetics of the day.
How far do you travel?
All options in the brochure come with two hours of travel time to your bridal prep and/or venue. However I travel the UK & Europe also.
What cameras do you use?

Do you shoot destination weddings & how much?
I love shooting destination weddings! However, in addition to my regular rates, there is additional costs to bare in mind for travel and my accommodation. If you have a place for me to stay that's awesome. Please note that during peak wedding season, I may not be able to take on a destination wedding if it means turning down a whole weekend's worth of weddings in the UK. If your wedding falls on my annual holiday periods there maybe something absolutely amazing that I can do for you! If I can make it work I will!
