Originally built in the late 19th century, the property was extensively renovated and restored in 2015, preserving many of its original features while introducing modern luxury touches.

The mansion boasts 30 acres of immaculately landscaped gardens, which provide a beautiful backdrop for outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. The property also features a range of elegant function rooms, including the historic Orangery and the grand Westminster Suite, which can accommodate up to 400 guests.

I have enjoyed shooting many weddings at Tortworth Court but today I highlight Lewis and Elena's wedding.

Lewis and Eleana's wedding at De Vere Tortworth Court Wedding was everything that the couple had dreamt dreamt of and more. The couple had been together many years before they finally decided to tie the knot on the 30th of September 2021. The day was perfect from start to finish, and every moment was captured by me at, being a De Vere Tortworth Court wedding photographer - I know the venue well so was able know exactly how the formalities would take place.

Eleanna and Lewis had been eagerly anticipating their big day. They had spent months planning every detail, from the ceremony to the reception. As the day approached, their excitement grew, and they couldn't wait to celebrate their love in the company of their family and friends they were in high sprits when I called the the week prior to the wedding.

The day started with Eleanna getting ready with her bridesmaids Jessica and Keri at the bridal suite at De Vere Tortworth Court. They were joined by Eleanna's mother Kirsteen who helped them get ready for the big day. The talented make-up artist Lauren Locke and hair stylist Sabina Porter made sure that Eleanna looked stunning for her big day. They started at 11 am, and after three hours of preparation, Eleanna was ready to marry her soulmate.

Meanwhile, Lewis and his best man Jamie were getting ready at their home in Emersons Green. They both looked smart in their suits, and Lewis could hardly contain his excitement for the day ahead. I took him off for some Grooms men shots before he could have those last minutes before the wedding to chill with his groomsmen and have a little tipple.

Despite the overwhelming joy of the day, there was a bittersweet moment during the ceremony. Elena's dad, who had passed away a few years ago, was not there to walk her down the aisle. So her brother took this duty for him. However, the couple made sure to incorporate her father into their special day, with elements of the ceremony dedicated to him. As they exchanged their vows at 2 pm in the stunning setting of De Vere Tortworth Court, there were tears shed not just for the love between the newlyweds but also for the memory of Elena's beloved father. The ceremony was emotional, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed some drinks while I captured some stunning shots of the newlyweds. The reception followed before the dinner, the speeches took place. Lewis started by thanking everyone for coming and expressed his love for Eleanna. Alexandros, Eleanna's brother for walking her down the aisle and gave a heartfelt speech and shared some anecdotes from their childhood. Finally, Jamie the best man spoke about the bond he shared with Lewis and how proud he was to stand by him on his special day.

The couple cut the cake at 8.15 pm, and everyone cheered as they did so. The cake was delicious, and everyone enjoyed a slice including me! The couple had chosen Limited Edition Band to provide the entertainment and at 8.20 pm, the couple had their first dance as husband and wife. It was a beautiful moment, and the guests watched in awe as the couple swayed to their favourite song. Throughout the day I was on hand to capture every moment of the couple's special day. The photos were stunning, and Eleanna and Lewis couldn't be happier with them.
