MOONRAKER HOTEL
Nestled amidst the serene countryside of Trowle, Trowbridge, the Moonraker Hotel stands as an awesome picturesque venue for couples seeking an intimate and memorable wedding experience. Recently, Kayleigh and Daniel chose this incredible venue to host their wedding. As their chosen wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the essence of their special day.
The tale of Kayleigh and Daniel traces back to their childhood, where fate intertwined their paths on a quaint farm. At the tender age of 15 Kayleigh first laid eyes on Daniel in his signature red overalls and wellies. Little did they know that this encounter would plant the seeds of a love that would flourish over the years. Daniel's proposal, a heartwarming moment, unfolded on a Boxing Day morning in 2019, amidst the cosy family home. With a simple and heartfelt gesture, Daniel knelt before Kayleigh, and with lots of tears, joy, and laughter, they embarked on the journey towards getting married.
For Kayleigh and Daniel, selecting the ideal venue for their wedding day was fuelled by sentiment and a shared vision. The Moonraker Hotel, with its rustic charm and intimate space, resonated deeply with the couple's desire for a celebration brimming with warmth, family, and authenticity. Situated in the countryside, the Moonraker Hotel offered not only a picturesque backdrop but also the convenience of on-site accommodation, ensuring that their guests could enjoy every moment of the wedding. It was this perfect blend of charm and convenience that solidified their decision, igniting a sense of excitement for them - as all their family would be close to celebrate with them through out the day and into the next.
With rustic vibes, Kayleigh and Daniel embarked on a journey that would etch itself into the hearts of all who they shared their lives with. The bridal preparations commenced at the Moonraker Hotel, where the air buzzed with the promise of the moments yet to unfold. It was a fun, family-filled morning, and then at 2 p.m., in the main ceremony space, Kayleigh and Daniel exchanged vows.
Following the ceremony, the festivities continued with a beautiful wedding breakfast in the marquee barn, a spot just to the back of the main house where couples and their guests eat. It’s a really lovely spot, with white drapes and sparkling fairy lights.
As the designated Moonraker Hotel wedding photographer, it’s always a privilege to capture the stories that unfold during wedding speeches, the glances exchanged amidst heartfelt tales of couples' lives that led them to their day. Through my lens, I always try to capture the raw emotion and unbridled joy that permeate the top table.
As the evening went on for Kayleigh and Daniel, the festivities reached a crescendo with the couple's first dance and a set from Daniel himself as DJ - playing some absolutely wild drum and bass tracks, music that didn’t just go down well with him and his friends but also his parents and grandparents!
The Moonraker Hotel, with its rustic charm and idyllic surroundings, provided the perfect canvas for Kayleigh and Daniel's wedding. With group shots against the backdrop of a beautiful house, surrounded by their cherished loved ones, to the laughter and joy that lingered in the air when Mum got on the dance floor for a drum and bass let loose, one thing became abundantly clear—their love for family was so important.
