You’ve probably searched through loads of photographers, visited countless websites, scrolled through hundreds of images and read all the usual “how I work” pages. Or you could have just found me and said that's our guy! Planning a wedding can be a lot, but choosing the right photographer should feel easy.

I’ve been photographing weddings for 11 years, capturing hundreds of wedding days for all kinds of couples, from my home city of Bath to the rolling hills of Umbria. But the thing that has always stayed the same is this, I want to create beautiful, honest photographs that actually feel like day's that my couples have worked so hard for, and that's not just me saying that, it's documented over hundreds of beautiful five star reviews. My approach is relaxed, honest and unobtrusive, with a balance between documenting things as they unfold and offering gentle, reassuring guidance when it’s needed. No chasing clichés for the sake of it. Just honest photographs of your people, your feeling, the love and the hard work you've put into to creating your special day, the little looks, the big moments and everything in between.

ON TREND, UNDERSTATED, CLASSIC

My aim is longevity when it comes to the way I edit images. I want your photos to look incredible now, but I also want them to still feel beautiful years down the line. I know that couples have worked hard to choose the colours, decor and overall feel of your wedding. My editing is always sympathetic to that. I like colour. I like contrast. I like the odd black and white image when it adds something to the story. I love natural light and flash. But most of all, I want your gallery to feel honest, considered, complimentary and full of feeling, not overly edited, not trend led, and not detached from the day you actually had.

UNOBTRUSIVE & Human

For most of the day, I’m not going to get in your way. I’ll be watching, listening, working with your co-ordinator and moving around quietly and capturing things as they happen. I chat to people, and I’ll make sure nobody feels like there’s a stranger with a camera hovering over them all day, I'm personable and want to make people feel at ease.

But when guidance is needed, I’ll step in. Family photos, couple portraits, a bit of chaos, Mum looking unsure where to stand, Nan wanting one for the wall, I’ve always got you. I’ll keep things relaxed, simple and most of all human, so you get the honest moments, the proper memories and the beautiful photographs without your wedding feeling like one big photoshoot. Whether you’re planning a full dance floor, a small ceremony, a wild celebration or something quietly understated, the aim is always the same. Your day, photographed in a way that actually feels authentic.
