Hey folks, I’m Stu, a Wedding Photographer Based Near Bath. If you're looking for a Bath wedding photographer, I'd love to hear from you. I travel all over the UK, including Bath, Bristol, Wells, Somerset, and the Cotswolds areas, and I'm based just on the outskirts of Bath. I'm also happy to travel abroad for weddings. Bath is a beautiful place to have weddings, and I have been delighted to have been hired to photograph many weddings around Somerset and Bath over the years.

As a Wedding Photographer, I'm super passionate about most things creative, but I’m also ridiculously passionate about family, weddings & marriage. I firmly believe that photography plays a vital role in capturing the special moments of our lives, not just for us but for those who love us too. That's why I strive to capture the genuine, authentic moments of your wedding day as they unfold, with a subtle bit of creativity in there for good measure, making your wedding photography and film timeless and nostalgic.

My style is documentary, with rich classic tones, and I love working with couples who are essentially looking for the day to be documented just as it happens, with a teeny weeny bit of subtle mood. I'm best suited for couples who are light-hearted, easy-going, wildly in love, and who aren’t afraid to let loose and have some fun for couples shots. So get ready to tear up the mandatory wedding rule book, raise your hands and dance like the fun and unique couple you are! Together, I will help you capture the true story of your wedding day! My whole ethos, in my life and in my career, is to ensure that what happens gets documented. I've got a camera everywhere I go, capturing all the real-life moments, the good, the bad, the ugly, and the funny. The stuff that will mean the world to you in years to come!

When it comes to wedding photography, my images are on-trend yet classic, with a love for family roots and the solidity that marriage brings to your life. I capture moments that are authentic, genuine, and unscripted, with crisp, rich tones full of nostalgia. I use natural light for portraits and also direct and off-camera flash techniques to make images pop, leaving them with longevity for years to come. Unlike many wedding photographers, I'm not a fan of presets. I like to keep things as close to real-life color as I can and I also love black and white.

Typically throughout a wedding day, I won't get in your way, and I keep myself to myself. I like to chat with folks from time to time, but I'm never going to ask you or your guests to do anything that makes you feel like you are acting. It's all about just being you. Of course, during family portraits, where guests may look like rabbits in headlights, I might try to mix it up. I guide you all through family shots and your own couple shots that will leave you, Mum, and Nan something beautiful for the wall, as well as the album. So, if you're looking for a Bath wedding photographer or a wedding photographer in the UK, don't hesitate to get in touch with me. I'd love to hear from you and help capture the memories of your special day in a way that's authentic, timeless, and uniquely you.

Wedding Photography in Bath

As a Bath Wedding Photographer, I have had the pleasure of shooting weddings in some of the most beautiful locations in the city. Bath is a truly magical place to get married, with its stunning architecture, picturesque landscapes, and charming venues. In this article, I will be sharing my top reasons why I love shooting weddings in Bath and why it's such a special place for couples to tie the knot.

One of the things I love most about Bath is its rich history and stunning architecture. From the iconic Royal Crescent and the Roman Baths to the grandeur of Bath Abbey and the Guildhall, the city is full of beautiful and unique locations for weddings. As a Bath Wedding Photographer, I love exploring these historic sites and discovering new angles and perspectives to capture the magic of a wedding day.

One of my favourite venues in Bath is Bailbrook House. This beautiful hotel located on the outskirts of the city is a true gem and provides a perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding. With its elegant Georgian architecture, stunning gardens, and luxurious interiors, Bailbrook House is a photographer's dream. Every wedding I have shot at Bailbrook House has been a joy, with the beautiful surroundings providing endless opportunities for stunning photography.

Another favourite place of mine for ceremonies is The Guildhall. This historic building located in the heart of Bath is a truly special place for couples to say their vows. With its beautiful architecture and rich history, The Guildhall provides a romantic and intimate setting for a wedding ceremony. As a Bath Wedding Photographer, I love capturing the emotion and romance of these intimate ceremonies and creating beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

As a Bath Wedding Photographer, I also appreciate the city's sense of community and support for local businesses. There are many talented vendors and suppliers in Bath who are passionate about their work and dedicated to providing couples with the best possible wedding day experience. From florists and cake makers to hair and makeup artists, it's always a pleasure to work alongside these talented professionals and contribute to a couple's special day.

Another reason why I love shooting weddings in Bath is the wide range of venues available. From grand stately homes and elegant manor houses to intimate restaurants and quirky museums, Bath has something to suit every couple's tastes and preferences. As a Bath Wedding Photographer, I have had the pleasure of shooting at some truly stunning venues such as the Royal Crescent Hotel, The Assembly Rooms, and The Pump Room. Each venue provides its own unique charm and character, making every wedding I shoot a truly special experience.

One of the weddings that I had the pleasure of shooting as a Bath Wedding Photographer was at the beautiful Bailbrook House. This stunning venue provided a perfect backdrop for a romantic and elegant wedding. The couple exchanged their vows in the stunning Orangery, surrounded by lush greenery and natural light. The reception was held in the stunning Cloisters Suite, where guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks in the beautiful surroundings.

But it's not just about the location and the venue. As a Bath Wedding Photographer, I believe that the people are what make a wedding truly special. From the happy couple and their families to the guests and vendors, I love meeting new people and being a part of their special day. It's an honour to be entrusted with capturing the memories of such an important occasion and I take great pride in ensuring that every moment is captured beautifully.

In addition to the stunning locations and venues, Bath also offers a range of unique and exciting activities for couples and their guests to enjoy. From hot air balloon rides and spa days to theatre shows and wine tastings, there's always something to do in this vibrant city. As a Bath Wedding Photographer, I love incorporating these activities into my photography and creating unique and memorable images for couples to treasure.
