Weddings at elmore court
Elmore Court is one of the most stunning venues for an English wedding, and as an Elmore Court wedding photographer, I am always excited to shoot there. The Cotswold countryside provides a gorgeous backdrop, and the story of how Anselm and Sarah transformed the estate into the elegant venue it is today is truly inspiring.
I had the pleasure of capturing Kirsty and Nathan's intimate Elmore Court wedding. Despite COVID-19 forcing them to scale back, the love and sentiment behind their special day were palpable. As an Elmore Court wedding photographer, I am always grateful for clients who trust me to document their love stories.
On the day of their wedding, I arrived early to capture the bridal preparation in the cottage. Kirsty and her bridal party then moved to the main house's master suite for the finishing touches, where I took stunning shots of her getting into her wedding dress. Nathan was also there, adding the finishing touches to their decor.
The day was incredibly windy, but the indoor ceremony at Elmore Court's Hall was simply breathtaking. As an Elmore Court wedding photographer, I always appreciate the beauty of the venue, from the mahogany floors to the stunning drapes and piano. During the ceremony, Kirsty and Nathan even made silly faces at the camera while signing the register, making everyone laugh.
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed drinks and nibbles as they reminisced about the happy couple. I took advantage of the rainy weather by taking Vanity Fair-style indoor shots of the family, which turned out great. As an Elmore Court wedding photographer, I always aim to capture the beauty of the estate's surroundings, so when the rain dried up, I took Kirsty and Nathan outside for some stunning couple shots. The windy weather did pose a challenge, but it added an extra layer of romance to the photos.
The speeches took place at the Gillyflower, one of Elmore Court's most beautiful spaces. The feasting tables were the perfect setting for Nathan's emotional speech, which had the guests cheering and awed. The cake cutting wasn't without a small mishap, but it added character to the tasty piece of cake.
The day ended with Nathan and Kirsty's sweet dance, followed by sparklers outside. As an Elmore Court wedding photographer, I made sure to capture all the unforgettable moments of their special day. It was a perfect balance of elegance, fun, and lightheartedness. I loved shooting Kirsty and Nathan's Elmore Court wedding, and I'm proud to share these stunning images and their wedding film.
"Wow! We had both our wedding photos and video from Stu and we cannot sing his praises enough. He was really easy to get along with and didn’t feel at all like an intrusion on our day at all. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does and just manages to see the perfect shot whether that’s posed or just capturing everyone throughout day. We had quite a bit of rain on our day and Stu found the perfect place indoors to have our family photos which have turned out amazing. He also wasn’t afraid of getting us out in the wind and rain (with our go ahead!) to get some amazing couple shots too. We are so happy with all of our photos and video and feel that our day was captured perfectly. Thank you so much Stu - we would 100% recommend!"
