As a Somerset-based wedding photographer, there is nothing quite like capturing the enchantment of a couple's big day. My name is Stu Tucker Photography, and I am passionate about capturing the raw emotions, love, and joy that radiates throughout a wedding. Somerset is an idyllic location with its breathtaking countryside, historic structures, and charming towns and villages, providing the ideal setting to capture those unforgettable moments and nothing is better than shoot a good old farm wedding in Somerset.
One of the reasons I adore shooting weddings in Somerset is because of the diverse selection of wedding venues available. From lavish stately homes to rustic barns, each venue has its unique allure and character, making it an exciting challenge to capture the essence of the wedding in a way that mirrors the surroundings. Venues like Clevedon Hall, Brympton House, and Orchardleigh Estate offer grandeur, sophistication, and style, while Almonry Barn, Gants Mill, and Priston Mill offer a more rustic and laid-back atmosphere. Whatever the style or theme of the wedding, there is a venue in Somerset to cater to every couple's preference.
The natural beauty of Somerset is also a significant attraction for me as a wedding photographer. The rolling hills, picturesque villages, and stunning coastline provide a picture-perfect backdrop to any wedding. From the magnificence of Bath's Georgian architecture to the charm of Wells, Somerset has a plethora of locations that offer a romantic and timeless quality perfect for wedding photography.
Another reason why I enjoy shooting weddings in Somerset is the amicable and welcoming nature of its people. Somerset is renowned for its warm and hospitable locals, and this is reflected in the way that couples and their families are treated on their wedding day. From the wedding suppliers to the guests and venue staff, everyone goes the extra mile to ensure that the day runs smoothly and that the couple has the best day of their lives.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of being a Somerset wedding photographer is capturing the unique personalities and characteristics of the couple and their guests. Somerset is home to a diverse range of people, from local farmers like Jason, to city professionals, and this diversity is reflected in the couples and families that I work with. Each wedding is unique, and I am continually inspired by the love, laughter, and emotion that surrounds each and every wedding that I photograph.
The changing seasons in Somerset also provide a distinct opportunity to capture the beauty of the wedding day in a variety of different ways. From the verdant greens of spring and summer to the warm hues of autumn and the crisp whites of winter, each season has its distinctive character that can be reflected in the wedding photography. As a Somerset wedding photographer, I relish the chance to work with the changing seasons and to capture the beauty of the wedding day in a way that reflects the couple's unique style and personality.
In addition to the natural beauty of Somerset, the county is also home to a wealth of local businesses and suppliers that can add a touch of local charm to the wedding day. From locally sourced food and drink to handmade decorations and favours, Somerset offers an array of options for couples who want to incorporate a touch of the local area into their wedding. As a Somerset wedding photographer, I love collaborating with local vendors and suppliers, and I am always eager to showcase the best of what Somerset has to offer. So, if you are looking for an honest and authentic Somerset Wedding Photographer, look no further!
Absolutely nuts this bunch! ... Beautiful wedding at St Andrews Church in Chew Stoke and then back to Lois's aunt's farm for a knees up! ... Had a little pour in the morning, but switched to perfect conditions for an outside wedding!
