As a wedding photographer, I am often asked why I love shooting weddings near Radstock. The answer is simple: the beauty of this quaint town and the surrounding countryside never fails to inspire me. My name is Stu Tucker, and I am a Radstock wedding photographer who has been capturing beautiful memories for couples in this area for many years.

As you may know Radstock is a small town located in the county of Somerset, England. It is surrounded by picturesque countryside and is known for its charming architecture and rich coal mining history. The town has a vibrant community and is situated near many beautiful wedding venues, such as Priston Mill , Folly Farm Centre, Coombe Lodge and Orchardleigh Estate.

Another reason I love shooting weddings near Radstock is the friendliness of the people. The locals are warm and welcoming, which creates a relaxed and happy atmosphere for the wedding. I mean I would say this being from Somerset myself! As a Radstock wedding photographer, I also love the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside. The rolling hills and lush greenery provide a stunning backdrop for my photographs. I love taking couples out into the countryside near the local venues they book to capture shots of them against the natural beauty of the landscape.

My wedding photography at its core is documentary, with rich classic tones and nostalgic vibes. I incorporate classics and timeless couples shots into the mix. I also have a signature style of Films that keep things elegant and classic.

But at the absolute base of it all… I love working with couples who are essentially looking for the day to be documented just as it happens - with a teeny weeny bit of subtle mood. I'm best suited for couples who are light-hearted, easy-going, wildly in love, and who aren’t afraid to let loose and have some fun. Weddings are one of the most important times in life and if you are excited about that - you’ll have me buzzing in the same way also!

I have a love for family roots, the solidity that marriage brings to your life, and of course, not forgetting photography! I capture moments that are authentic, genuine, and unscripted. My style and tones are crisp, rich, and full of nostalgia. I use natural light for portraits and also use direct and off-camera flash techniques to make images pop, ensuring they have longevity for years to come. Unlike many wedding photographers, I am not a preset or filter warrior. I prefer to keep things as close to real-life colour as possible, and I also have a fondness for black and white.

Typically throughout a wedding day, I won't get in your way; I will keep to myself. I like to chat with folks from time to time, but I'm never going to ask you or your guests to do anything that makes you feel like you're acting. It's all about just being yourselves. Except, of course, if people during family portraits look like rabbits in headlights - I might try to mix it up then. I'll guide you all through family shots and if you choose and the couple shots.... leaving you, Mum, and Nan with something beautiful for the wall.
