Your Wedding Photography Booking Process: Simple, Seamless, and Stress-Free

Booking your wedding photography should be an exciting and straightforward experience. My process is designed to be smooth and hassle-free, ensuring that everything is in place well before your big day. Here’s what to expect when booking with me:

Securing Your Date

Check to see if your date is available by using the contact form below. I don’t usually offer calls prior to booking, simply due to the volume of enquiries I receive. I completely understand this won’t be for everyone, but I’m always very happy to answer any questions once your enquiry comes through. Please do use the enquiry form to ask anything at all, it helps keep the process easy, relaxed and informative for you, and far less like an audition.

To reserve your wedding date the any of my options from Mini Luxe Upwards is £300

Elope Booing fee is £150

Booking fees are non refundable and non transferable should you choose to cancel your booking or reschedule your wedding. This ensures your date is exclusively reserved for you and that no one else can book me for the same day or time slot, including when booking the Elope option.

If you are choosing to book my elopement option, you will need to provide times of your ceremony prior to booking, as on these days I may book another couple to shoot for at the same location.

Booking fee's are included in the prices listed on my website on the pricing page and is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due 12 weeks before your wedding. Your booking is set up in your own personal booking portal. 

Signing the Terms & Conditions

At the time of booking, you’ll also be required to review and sign my terms and conditions. These are in place to outline the key details of our agreement, ensuring clarity and peace of mind for both of us. Everything is handled digitally through your personal online booking system, and you can sign online.

Initial Questionnaire

Included in your portal, you’ll have an initial questionnaire. The initial questionnaire is simple and just provides me with key details about who you are.

Leading Up to the Wedding

In the months before your wedding, you’ll receive reminders and emails from me, ensuring you’re always in the loop and know im around for you. If your venue requires any insurance documents, these can be found attached to your “Thanks for booking email” 

About a month before the big day, I’ll send you a schedule form to fill out, helping us finalise timings and key details for your wedding. This includes story elements about you both, your timings, key people, additional elements and a space to write your group shots.

Final Preparations

Once you’ve submitted your schedule form, a couple weeks later we’ll arrange a video call during the week leading up to your wedding. This is a great opportunity to catch up, go through the final timeline, and make sure everything is perfectly planned. It also gives you the chance to ask any last-minute questions and feel fully prepared. I like to do these calls the week of weddings to ensure that your day is fresh in my head. 

A Seamless Experience

Everything is designed to be smooth, simple, and stress-free. From the moment you book to the final preparations, I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way and Im always accessible via WhatsApp for quick questions and advice. Your personal online booking system keeps everything organised and easily accessible, so you can focus on enjoying the lead-up to your big day.

A Hands-Off, Low-Stress Planning Approach

I keep things intentionally relaxed and hands off when it comes to planning. Once you’re booked, there’s no need for regular check ins or early planning calls. I include one dedicated planning call as part of your booking, which takes place after your schedule form has been completed, usually in the month leading up to your wedding. This is when timings are settled and everything is relevant and fresh.

I wont't need detailed plans or schedules until around a month before the day, unless something major changes such as your venue. The beauty of booking me is that I shoot what is in front of me, which means I have a very organic approach. This approach keeps things simple for you and avoids unnecessary stress or over planning months or years in advance.
