By now you should know that planning a wedding is full of moving parts. From your initial plans timings shift, ideas evolve, and before you know it, the day you originally mapped out can look quite different three, six, or twelve months down the line. That’s why three months before your wedding is the perfect time to pause and check do the hours of photography or videography you booked still line up with the plans you now have?

Why this check matters


Every year I see a handful of couples fill out their wedding day schedule, only for me to realise that what they’ve planned runs a couple of hours over what they’ve booked me for. It’s an easy oversight, especially when plans change after the initial booking. It’s much better to spot this now than a week before the wedding.


The coverage I provide is consecutive, this includes and travel between locations. I give couples the choice when they submit their schedule a month prior to their wedding to choose when they want me to start and finish. This is based on the hourly option they have booked. Whether you’d like me to begin with morning prep or stay later into the party, those hours are yours to place wherever you choose. But if your timings have grown, or you've added other elements to your day since booking you'd like covered, It’s really important to check you’ve got enough coverage to comfortably fit it all in.

What happens if your timings have changed?


If your plans now mean you’ll need more time, additional hours can be added at £250 per hour. While bookings can’t be downgraded, you’re always welcome to upgrade if things have shifted since you first reserved your date. I send reminders at this three-months stage and again at one month out because once your wedding arrives, I can’t extend coverage on the day.


Planning this ahead means I can give you my full attention without any awkward cut-offs.

A dress change between reception and party? These are the kinds of moments that can sometimes fall just outside the hours couples initially booked.
